Mental Health support

Although taking care of the children and supporting their Mental Health is a priority for all staff, we have some designated members of staff who provide additional support for any children or adults that need it.

The Mental Health support team at Drayton Green Primary are;

William                             Ms Jurado                            Mr Mason                      Mrs Arran

We are very lucky to work with the School's Counselling Partnership and we have a Therapeutic Lead, William, who is in school every Monday.

Ms Jurado is our Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) and she runs groups or sessions for children to support with a wide range of concerns, e.g. friendship disputes, bereavement in the family, anxiety, etc.

Mr Mason is our Learning Support Mentor and runs interventions and offers support for children at playtimes/lunchtimes.

Mrs Arran is our SENDCo and Senior Mental Health Lead. She helps the staff and parents to provide the best possible support for children in the school.

Please see the tabs below for more information about what support we offer and how to access it.
